DESIGN AND PRODUCTION OF A MOULD TROLLEY
The mould trolley is one of the many options that our customers can request; in this case, linked to the 2000 Ton Dieffenbacher project. The mould trolley, by our expert team in cooperation with the various specialised workshops, to support a maximum weight of 30 Ton has been entirely designed and assembled.
The trolley moves on underground rails and allows a minimum height for the insertion of large moulds in the press.
PROJECT SPECIFICATION
The entire project, starting from its initial study phase, follows the guidelines given by the customer. Upon request to reduce the spaces as much as possible, we have designed a type of Deauville wheel (railway wheel) able to slide inside the existing caves in the fixed plane and at the same time be as compact as possible despite the load it should have supported.
And the result? A trolley on rails carrying 30 tons with the following overall dimensions in 1700X1500X380 mm (dimensioning customised to the customer’s needs).
